partnership

JBL has earned a reputation for designing loudspeakers that combine studio grade accuracy with the power and presence demanded by music lovers. Their new JBL 4369 floorstanding monitor and Summit Series loudspeakers continue that tradition by harnessing JBL’s latest driver and horn technologies and pairing them with IsoAcoustics isolation. Whether you’re setting up a recording studio or building a reference quality home system, this partnership helps these speakers reproduce every detail with precision and impact.

JBL Summit Series – Makalu, Pumori & Ama

The Summit Series, Makalu, Pumori and Ama, reflects JBL’s highest level of engineering. Named after Himalayan peaks, each model features JBL’s patented D2 compression drivers and HDI Sonoglass horns for uniform dispersion, triple-layer hybrid carbon cellulose cones for natural tone and low distortion, and MultiCap crossovers housed in curved, heavily braced cabinets finished in high-gloss veneers. This trio spans a three-way flagship (Makalu), a slightly more compact three-way (Pumori) and a two-way stand mount (Ama), giving listeners a range of sizes and performance levels within the same family.

The Summit Series takes IsoAcoustics isolation a step further with GAIA Neo isolators. These custom, threaded feet use a patented internal suspension to manage lateral movement and oscillations, dramatically reducing energy transfer between each loudspeaker and the supporting surface. The result is improved clarity, tighter bass and a more holographic soundstage—even when your speaker’s footprint stays exactly the same.

JBL 4369 – A Modern Classic

The 4369 draws directly from the lauded 4367, but its components and cabinet are completely reengineered. A newly developed 15inch Differential Drive® woofer with dual 3inch voice coils and an advanced neodymium motor pairs with a D2830B annular ring compression driver and next generation Sonoglass HDI™ horn. JBL couples these drivers with a MultiCap™ crossover using DC-biased capacitors, dual front firing ports and a dual-layer MDF cabinet. The result is a powerful yet refined two-way system that blends dynamic punch with studio quality finesse.engineeredinch Differential Drive® woofer with dual 3inch voice coils and an advanced neodymium motor ring compression driver and nextgeneration biased capacitors, dual frontfiring ports and a duallayer MDF cabinet. IsoAcoustics isolation plays a key role. The 4369 rests on IsoAcoustics feet that are engineered to decouple the cabinet from the floor, reducing vibrations and preserving low-frequency extension and clarity (think of them as precision shock absorbers for your speaker).

What Our Partner Says:

“The JBL Summit Series is the culmination of everything JBL stands for — acoustic precision, timeless design and an emotional connection to music. With these new models, we honor our heritage while pushing the boundaries of sound reproduction further than ever before.”
